The club has launched a new mebership package ahead of the 2012/13 season. Below is an open letter from Chairman Stuart Revell.
New Membership Scheme
I am writing to inform you that from the start of the new season, the club will be introducing a Membership Package. As you know, in previous years , we have simply collected a weekly training and match fee and then relied upon certain fund-raising activities and grants to cover all our expenses. What has been missing is a clear and consistent Membership Package whereby everyone associated with the club actually becomes a member. So why are we doing this ?
Its all part of our 5 Year Development Plan which we believe will progress ETAFC to become one of the most prominent Football Clubs in North Yorkshire. The introduction of this Membership package should be seen as “ laying the foundations ” for the growth of what is already a very popular and highly respected Community Club. From this will come a number of other initiatives which we hope will eventually lead to us removing the weekly training and match fees.
The new Fees will be as follows :
Senior Players - £10
Junior Players - £5
Family Membership - £10 ( i.e more than 2 children )
Non-Playing Members - £5
The fees will be collected over the next 2 months and all players must have paid their fee by Sept 30th to continue playing for the club. Following that all new players will have a period of 8 weeks to decide if they wish to remain at the club.
You will receive more information over the coming weeks regarding the fees and how to pay them. As we progress through the season, the benefits of becoming a member will be communicated to you by myself and the Committee who are working very hard to bring a number of new and exciting initiatives to the club.
