The club has a fundraising committee that organises activities in order to raise much needed extra revenue for both the general upkeep of the club and the coaching and associated activities of both the Senior and Junior sections of the club. Please support us in these efforts.
If you wish to get involved in the fundraising or would like to offer suggestions for future events please contact Peter Nottage via email: email@example.com
Annual Tournament - Saturday 13th May 2017
Our Tournament Day is an annual event, marking the end of the season. Players must be members, and have been registered with the club to be eligible to play. If you are unsure if your child is a member and registered, please contact Aisha (details below).
ALL players wishing to take part in the tournament MUST register via the link below. You will need to do this for each child.
Format of the day
Registration is usually around 9.00-9.45am, matches start around 10am with the last games around 1.30pm and a presentation around 2pm.
At registration players pay £2.50 subs and collect their sticker indicating which team they are in. They then make their way to their pitches to meet their team manager and the players they are with, this will be their team for the full day.
Players are put into mixed age/mixed sex/mixed ability teams. The age groups are roughly split as U5-U7 / U8-U10 / U11-U13 / U14-U16, however it depends on numbers entered as to how age groups will be split.
The teams play a number of fixtures in a friendly tournament. Teams finishing first and second in each group will be awarded a medal.
On the day there is a BBQ, sweet/drinks stall, cake stall, tombola, lucky dip, find the wine, teas/coffees etc.
Volunteers and Donations Needed
Without volunteers we could not run this fantastic event so please do put your name forward to help, even just for one hour. If you would like to volunteer as a referee or manager you can do so when you register your child online. There are sign-up sheets in the clubhouse for the stalls.
We also need donations for the tombola, find the wine and second hand sports kit stalls (clean and good quality) and these can all be brought to the clubhouse on a Saturday morning.
If you cannot get to the clubhouse to add your name to the rotas, please contact Aisha (firstname.lastname@example.org or 07804 096575).
